The Venetia Fair “The Ringleader”

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

I was drinking coffee and browsing music videos on vimeo.com this morning when I ran into this little gem. It was about the furthest thing from what I was actually looking for but once I started watching, I couldn’t look away – like a musical train wreck you can’t stop listening to. I’ve watched it several times now and it grows on me a little more each time. I don’t think it’s possible to make a better video for this song. I’ve previewed the rest of their album “The Circus” on iTunes and it’s really quite good. It’s probably not safe to listen to while operating a motor vehicle, but it’s perfect programming music. I’ll definitely be adding it to my collection.

Слот – Мертвые Звезды

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

Мёртвые звёзды (Dead Stars) music video by Слот (Slot).

Hybrid – Break My Soul (Music Video)

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

I just discovered Hybrid today on Vimeo. Great song and beautiful video. Goes to show that if you stay alive day after day you just might find something from time to time to make it worth while. I just downloaded their latest album “Disappear Here” from iTunes. Can’t wait to listen to the rest of it. Enjoy.

“Waiting” – My Robot Friend

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

I ran across this music video at vimeo.com the other day and fell in love with it. I couldn’t resist posting it here to keep it handy. Hope you enjoy it as well. It’s the official music video for the acoustic version of “Waiting” by My Robot Friend (featuring Jay Kauffman). Directed by Liam Stevens of MakeMake Studio, this stop motion animation is made entirely of pencil & cut paper and took just over three months to complete. Production and technical assistance; Chris Tozer.
