Dave Hill Photography
I find myself quickly becoming an expert at discovering really cool stuff months or even years after everyone else. In fact, I suppose that is what this blog is about more than anything really. It’s just a rehash of cool stuff other people have discovered. But hey, it’s all new to me and I think it’s cool so the world has to see more of it. Anyhow, today’s cool stuff is the photography of Dave Hill. Hill’s use of professional photography techniques and stunning photo effects and photo manipulation makes his work immediately recognizable. His photos have a dark-gritty-surreal look to them that many photographers and designers have tried to imitate. And imitation is the sincerest form of flattery next to getting a blog posted about you on my site. So congratulations Dave! Also, he loves to tell stories. See if you can follow the story from these first eleven photos. I believe I’ve got them in the correct order. You may have to fill in some gaps with your imagination.
