Logitech Illuminated Keyboard
I went out shopping for a keyboard for my new computer a few weeks ago. I hadn’t been shopping for a keyboard for quite a long time so I didn’t really know what would be available or what options I would have. My plan was to just try out a few of the display models and hope something would catch my eye. Keyboards come in all different shapes, sizes, and styles these days, but nothing really sparked my interest until I noticed the slim green Logitech box on the lower shelf that simply read “Logitech Illuminated Keyboard”.
I had been using a Mac Powerbook for several years and one thing I really liked about it was the illuminated keys. I generally prefer working under dim lighting conditions so illuminated keys was really a plus. There was no display model available at this particular Best Buy, but the image on box caught my interest. The keyboard looked slim and sleek with low-profile keys and the font used for the letters on the keys really stood out nicely. I knew without a doubt I had found my keyboard.
I’ve been using it for a little over a month now and am still in love with it. I spoke so highly of it to my dad, he decided to try it out as well. I wasn’t convinced it was a good fit for him, but he just loves it. It really has everything I could want from a keyboard. It’s stylish, thin, quiet, and illuminated. I haven’t found anything to complain about it yet, and I believe even if I do discover some little flaws further down the road, I’ll be more than happy to overlook them.
The list price was a bit steep at $79.99, but we were able to find it on sale at Best Buy for $59.99. For me, it’s worth every penny. There are few devices these days that can put a smile on your face every time you use them. That’s about as much a recommendation as I can give any product I imagine. Do yourself a favor and get one!
