Chinese Paintings by Lou Dahua

I’ve got a lot of things going on this week and haven’t had the time to write a proper post, but I did run across these amazing paintings by Chinese artist Lou Dahua. Lou studied art at the Beijing and Shanghai Universities and has been engaged in the meticulous brushwork of birds and flowers for several decades. His paintings are a rare blend of traditional Chinese and Western painting methods and have been on exhibition throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. Each painting is a one-of-a-kind hand painted original.
